Vespa III makes its first investment by acquiring a majority stake in Sprinter, in association with its management

02/11/2022

Sprinter, founded in 2017 by Julien Perez and Guillaume Leclerc, imports and distributes large-format digital printing media. Located in Chennevières-sur-Marne in the Paris region, the company supplies printing professionals by delivering to them in less than 48 hours thanks to its logistics platform.

Sprinter has achieved exceptional growth and profitability. Since its creation, it has doubled revenue every year, reaching €7.5m in 2022, with nearly 400 active customers. Driven by its competitive pricing and operational excellence, Sprinter now has significant growth prospects.

Julien Perez and Guillaume Leclerc aim to maintain this momentum, as well as their excellent operational efficiency, and to take a leading position in their market. The growth plan is based on developing the product range and winning new customers.

The new Vespa Capital fund is taking over from business angels as the leading financial shareholder and is partnering with Sprinter's management to finance and accelerate the company’s growth through an exclusively equity investment.

“Vespa Capital understood our goals and adapted the transaction to our expectations. We were looking for a player capable of rapidly financing the development and growth of our company” - Guillaume Leclerc and Julien Perez, founders and managers of Sprinter.

“Sprinter’s success is based on the quality of its management and its highly efficient operational organisation. Our objective is to support and finance the company’s development. The characteristics of the transaction make it a typical first investment for our new investment fund Vespa III” - Kenza Moumni, Managing Partner of Vespa Capital.
